New academy course focuses on ‘Cultivating an Everyday Faith’

The Brethren Academy for Ministerial Leadership will offer this online course, “Cultivating an Everyday Faith,” from April 17 to June 11, 2024. Joan Daggett, ordained minister and executive director of the Brethren and Mennonite Heritage Center, will be the instructor. The deadline to register is March 13, 2024.

Strength for the Journey: 2024 applications are now accepted

New “Strength for the Journey” pastor cohorts are forming now, with plans to begin meeting in January 2024. Applications are available at https://bethanyseminary.edu/brethren-academy/strength-for-the-journey and will be accepted through Oct. 31.

‘Leadership in Turbulent Times’ is topic of next book study for pastors

The Church of the Brethren’s Part-Time Pastor, Full-Time Church Program has announced the next online book discussion led by “circuit rider” John Fillmore. The conversation will begin on Tuesday, Oct. 3, centered on Gil Rendle’s book Quietly Courageous: Leading the Church in a Changing World.
