The Church of the Brethren Yearbook publishes statistics as reported by congregations and districts. In addition, the Yearbook provides a denominational directory including all districts, congregations, and ministers. A new edition is produced annually.

2024 Yearbook Reporting

This page provides resources to assist congregations and districts in submitting their annual Yearbook form. Completing this form each year is a vital way for the church to stay connected. Thanks for the time and effort put into this important work!

This year’s Yearbook form is new and improved. The previous three forms have been replaced with one, and you have the option to fill it out online.

Please do one of the following by May 15, 2025:

Option A: Fill out the online Yearbook form. (You can start the form and then return to it later before you click to submit. You will receive a copy of your responses.)

OR

Option B: Complete the paper form which was mailed to your church and return a scanned copy via email to yearbook@brethren.org or mail to Yearbook Office, 1451 Dundee Ave, Elgin, IL 60120.

  • James Miner to retire from the Church of the Brethren Yearbook staff

    James (Jim) Miner has announced his retirement as Yearbook specialist for the Church of the Brethren, as of June 26. In this role, which he began nine years ago in November 2016, he has been responsible for creating the annual Church of the Brethren Yearbook.

  • Updated Yearbook forms are due from congregations May 15

    Church of the Brethren Yearbook forms have been updated this year. For congregations, the three previous forms have been replaced with one form. Congregations have the option to complete this form online via webform, or via a paper form which can be mailed or scanned and emailed to the Yearbook office.

  • The 2025 Lent devotional, two Covenant Bible Studies, Yearbook are new from Brethren Press

    New resources from Brethren Press, the Church of the Brethren publishing house, include the 2025 Lenten devotional titled Take Up Your Cross written by Tim Harvey; two new Covenant Bible Studies including God’s Earth Our Home written by David Radcliff and Sabbath: God’s Call to Peace written by Angela Finet; and the 2024 edition of the Church of the Brethren Yearbook

    Church of the Brethren membership in the United States in 2022 was 81,345, according to the statistical report in the 2023 Church of the Brethren Yearbook, published by Brethren Press. The 2023 edition--published late last year--includes the 2022 statistical report and the 2023 directory for the denomination.

    Church of the Brethren membership in the United States and Puerto Rico is just over 87,000, according to the statistical report in the 2022 Church of the Brethren Yearbook, published by Brethren Press. The 2022 edition--published late last year--includes the 2021 statistical report and the 2022 directory for the denomination.
