The 2024 Annual Conference today, Saturday, July 6, acted on “Query: A New Model of Denominational Structure,” which was brought by Miami (Fla.) Haitian Church of the Brethren and Atlantic Southeast District.
Delegates adopt mandate and term extension for next Review and Evaluation Committee
Today, Saturday, July 6, the delegate body of Annual Conference amended and adopted a mandate for the work of the next Review and Evaluation Committee and approved an extension of the committee’s term of service from two years to up to four years.

The Standing Committee of district delegates to Annual Conference began pre-Conference meetings the evening of Sunday, June 30. Those meetings continue through Wednesday morning, July 3. Standing Committee was led by Annual Conference moderator Madalyn Metzger, assisted by moderator-elect Dava Hensley and Conference secretary David Shumate.
