Winners of the Youth Speech Contest for NYC are announced

The National Youth Conference (NYC) 2022 office is excited to announce and congratulate the three winners of the Youth Speech Contest. These three young women will speak during a worship service at NYC this summer.

Ministry Summer Service: Seeking clarity for the needs of young adults and the church

In 2020, MSS was held online due to the COVID pandemic. In 2021, as the pandemic continued and MSS applications declined further, the program took a sabbath rest. Facing a third summer of pandemic-affected program, as well as the long-term trends, 2022 will provide a chance to listen. Instead of moving ahead with the program or taking another sabbath, the future of the program will be intentionally considered.

National Youth Conference worship and music coordinators are announced

The National Youth Conference (NYC) 2022 office is excited to announce our worship and music coordinators for next summer. Our worship coordinators are Bekah Houff, Cindy Laprade Lattimer, Shawn Flory Replogle, and Walt Wiltschek. Jacob Crouse is coordinating music.

Are you planning to attend National Youth Conference (NYC) 2022 as an adult advisor? Do you have knowledge or expertise in a certain area and would like to teach a workshop–to youth and advisors, or just advisors? Consider proposing a workshop by completing the NYC 2022 workshop form!

Unfolding grace digitally

In the Zoom grid of names and faces during this year’s NYAC worship services, one of those squares held a very special place and purpose. For each service, one young adult was assigned to create a worship center in their home and spotlight it on their Zoom screen.
