Shine Everywhere reaches midpoint, strengthening faith formation at home and church

At the midpoint of its five-year grant initiative, Shine Everywhere is demonstrating how research, partnerships, and innovative resources are helping congregations better support families in sharing faith at home. Shine Everywhere is shaping the future of Shine: Living in God’s Light  Curriculum and deepening the connection between faith practices at church and at home.

Shine Everywhere free six-week worship series helps churches nurture faith at home

The Shine curriculum has released an all-ages resource centered on six key faith practices, in order to help congregations cultivate meaningful faith practices in the home. The six practices—talk, pray, celebrate, serve, learn, and worship—are simple, repeatable actions designed to help families integrate faith into daily routines.

Shine curriculum introduces Shine Everywhere

The Shine curriculum of Brethren Press and MennoMedia is introducing a new initiative called Shine Everywhere. Shine Everywhere will provide new avenues of communication between those who create Shine curriculum and the congregations and families who use it. The purpose of the new initiative is to listen attentively to congregations and families and then incorporate their input into new Shine resources.

Introducing ‘Shine Everywhere’

We did it! We have named our new initiative “Shine Everywhere.” We love the fact that it builds on Shine and extends the light metaphor of living in God’s light!
