Thanks be to God for the immigration work of former Brooklyn (N.Y.) First Church of the Brethren pastor Phill Carlos Archbold. Brooklyn First added seven new members into its community on Saturday, April 11. The group included the third generation of the Juarez family to join the congregation.

Today, July 4, the delegate body of the 2024 Annual Conference welcomed a total of seven new projects, fellowships, and congregations into the Church of the Brethren. This number included one congregation, one fellowship, and five new church projects, located in five districts.
Yearbook reports Church of the Brethren denominational statistics for 2022
Church of the Brethren membership in the United States in 2022 was 81,345, according to the statistical report in the 2023 Church of the Brethren Yearbook, published by Brethren Press. The 2023 edition–published late last year–includes the 2022 statistical report and the 2023 directory for the denomination.
One church begot three in troubled northeastern Nigeria
Ekklesiyar Yan’uwa a Nigeria (EYN, the Church of the Brethren in Nigeria) has organized three congregations or Local Church Councils (LCCs) from an LCC called Udah in DCC [church district] Yawa and another in Watu. EYN president Joel S. Billi accompanied by the EYN general secretary Daniel Y. C. Mbaya on June 19 presided over the establishment of LCCs Muva, Tuful, and Kwahyeli located in Askira/Uba Local Government Area of Borno State.
