Brethren Congregations Among Those Being Surveyed

Church of the Brethren congregations are being invited to respond to a survey that will be arriving in mailboxes soon. The survey is a broad curriculum survey being conducted by the Protestant Church-owned Publishers Association (PCPA), of which Brethren Press is a member.

New Bible Studies, Yearbook Available from Brethren Press

Two new Bible studies are now available from Brethren Press: a Covenant Bible Study on “Miracles of Jesus,” and the Winter quarter of “A Guide for Biblical Studies” on the theme “God Establishes a Faithful People.” The 2011 Advent Devotional also is now available, along with a special Christmas card featuring a colorful graphic from the devotional cover. In addition, the Church of the Brethren Yearbook for 2012 may be purchased on CD.

‘Witness of Hebrew Bible’ Event Is Offered by SVMC

The Susquehanna Valley Ministry Center (SVMC), in collaboration with Elizabethtown (Pa.) College Department of Religious Studies, will host a continuing education event titled “The Witness of the Hebrew Bible for a New Testament Church.” The event takes place Nov. 7 from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m., on the Elizabethtown College campus in the Susquehanna Room, with speakers who contributed to a recent Brethren Press book of the same name.
