A release from Brethren Press
New from the Covenant Bible Study series is Resisting Racism by Steve and Kathy Reid, an update of their previous Covenant title Uncovering Racism. The book is available for preorder now.
Resisting racism is hard work, and the church can help or hurt. This study updates the previous Uncovering Racism, with the goal of building stamina among those who want to keep at the challenge of racial transformation. The authors are an interracial couple with decades of personal and professional experience leading the church into becoming more like God’s beloved community.
Working through this study together provides an opportunity for Sunday school classes or other study groups to live out the 2022 Annual Conference statement on Standing with People of Color, which calls on congregations “to study the teachings of Jesus and how they apply to our relationships with all people of color.”
Preorder the book for $11.99 per copy.
