Shepherd’s Spring is a non-profit organization that has various aspects, so work is varied. They offer one of the only Global Villages in the nation, a retreat center, and traditional Summer Camps. They are looking for outgoing people so would welcome people from various backgrounds, ages and lifestyles. The volunteer would also need to be comfortable in outdoor settings.
Shepherd’s Spring is a retreat center located on 220 acres bordering the C&O Canal. It is very peaceful, full of wildlife, and often thought of as a little piece of heaven.

Duties and Responsibilities:
At camp, volunteers help with camp counseling, cleaning, light office work, hosting retreat groups, and serving as kitchen and maintenance staff. Volunteers live onsite in a motel style room or staff cabin with full access to the camp kitchen.
Requirements:
Volunteers should be self-disciplined, responsible, willing to complete work assignments, and able to work independently.
