Camp High Hopes is a year round recreational and respite facility that works with children and adults with disabilities in a camp setting. We are seeking a Program Fellow to assist our campers during both the summer months and in the off season. During the summer, we have week-long and day camps that run simultaneously. The program fellow would be expected to help lead activities such as Arts and Crafts and high and low ropes courses. They may also serve as a counselor, moving from activity to activity with the campers. During the off season, we have weekend camps, Saturday day camps, and evening activities for people with disabilities. The program fellow may help with an After Hours program, assisting people with disabilities in recreational and practical skills such as bocce ball, dancing, cooking, and archery. We are a young non-profit that will be looking for help the rest of the time with marketing, fundraising, recruiting and social media. This could include helping with our Haunted Lodge Fund Raiser and at fairs for people with disabilities. Any creative skills, such as wood working or painting, will be utilized in programming with campers and in expanding what we offer in the future.
