Job Descriptions

District IV Human Resources Development Council (HRDC), a non-profit community action agency, has been serving the Hi-Line region of North-Central Montana since 1965. The aim is to engage low-income families with the maximum opportunity to address their needs, envision their possibilities, and live a productive life of dignity.

(A) A Facilities Maintenance Worker is needed to renovate, repair, and maintain homes and HRDC facilities. A truck and necessary tools are provided. The volunteer should have experience with carpentry and minor home repair as well as a valid driver’s license.

(B) The Food Bank Assistant helps with the management and daily operations of the Havre Community Food Bank. The volunteer will receive, sort, and distribute food and will provide “over the counter” service to those in need of food. He/She also help with maintaining a clean facility and friendly environment. Duties are flexible according to the skills and interests of the volunteers, and the volunteer may take on a combination of the positions listed.
