Ferncliff Camp and Conference Center serves as a summer camp, retreat center, preschool, and center for mission & outreach on 1,200 acres of forested land with two lakes and a variety of outdoor activities and recreational spaces. Ferncliff’s emphasis is on outreach, eco- sustainability, and outdoor experiential learning through their summer camp programs, nature preschool, and disaster outreach efforts.

Job Descriptions
Residential Volunteers will learn about camp & conference ministry while building Ferncliff’s capacity for impact. Volunteers live on site in Christian community and practice simple living together. As the Ferncliff mission statement puts it, “As an expression of God’s love, we welcome people into a life of caring for Creation, others and themselves.”
Volunteer responsibilities will vary depending on the season of the year and position availability, but may include assisting with summer camp and event programming, hosting guest groups on site, assisting with disaster assistance operations and volunteer teams, working with preschool-aged kids in the Nature School and afterschool program, caring for the farm & garden, and assisting with hospitality & food service operations.
