Ferncliff Camp and Conference Center serves as a summer camp and retreat center for Presbyterian churches in Arkansas, with an emphasis on outreach, eco-sustainability, and creative collaboration. Residential Volunteers will learn about camp, conference, and church ministry while building Ferncliff’s capacity for impact. Volunteers will live on site in Christian community, practice simple living, and engage with thoughtful faith speakers/practitioners. Together, we will create positive change in the world by opening eyes, minds, and hearts to God’s transforming love.
Volunteer responsibilities will vary but may include assisting with summer camps, preparing for and hosting mission teams in the Disaster Assistance Center, running the Sharing the Goods shop, hosting retreat center groups and field trip programs, assisting the Nature Preschool & After School staff and kids, caring for the farm and garden and leading related activities as part of educational programming, and performing housekeeping and maintenance.
