The Part-Time Pastor, Full-Time Church program of the Office of Ministry invites multi-vocational clergymen, as we wrap up our Easter celebrations, to make a simple yet vital commitment for setting aside intentional time to commune with God and peers. This is offered as you begin a journey of self-recognition and support of other clergy in the Church of the Brethren.
We envision this time together to connect with others and God as well as refilling your tank so that you can effectively minister in your current ministry role. There also will be opportunities to engage in a variety of sacred spiritual practices, some that you may be familiar with along with others that are new, to carry with you. The practices will help enable you to be resilient while facing the ever-growing challenges of ministry in a setting designed to foster and build relationships with other pastors throughout the Church of the Brethren.
This time will be led by Gabe Dodd, a trained spiritual director and pastor of Beaver Creek Church of the Brethren in Mid-Atlantic District. This group will meet monthly on Zoom, at 6 p.m. (Eastern time) every third Wednesday. The first session is April 17. An email will be sent prior to the first gathering with information on how to connect.
Register by April 10 at https://forms.gle/cubMSzhSGedsbU287.
Email Tabitha Rudy at adminptpftc@brethren.org with any registration-related questions.
