Registration is now open for a webinar titled “Where Did They Go? Reconnecting with Kids and Families,” offered by the Shine curriculum, a joint program of Brethren Press and MennoMedia. The online event is free, scheduled for Monday, May 16, at 7 p.m. (Eastern time).
“COVID turned Sunday school on its head,” said an announcement. “After two years of isolation, families with youth and young children have been slow to re-engage in the life of the church. Yet, faith formation is critical for the next generation. How do we move forward from here? Join this webinar to hear from seasoned ministry leaders. Find out what they are doing that’s working and pitfalls to avoid as you navigate your way into the future of faith formation.”
Panelists include Amy Gall Ritchie from Manchester Church of the Brethren, North Manchester, Ind.; Vicki Hinz-Ensz from First Mennonite, Beatrice, Neb.; Lois Huston from Frazer Mennonite Church, Malvern, Pa. The hosts are Joan Daggett and Chrissie Muecke of the Shine curriculum staff.
Register at https://shinecurriculum.com/webinar. The Zoom webinar link will be emailed to registrants on Friday, May 13.
