National Youth Conference offerings will benefit scholarship fund, Global Food Initiative, Estes Valley Investment in Childhood Success

By Anna Schweitzer

The National Youth Conference (NYC) office is excited to announce the offerings that participants will be encouraged to give to during worship services this year at NYC 2026 on July 18-23 at the YMCA of the Rockies in Estes Park, Colo.

NYC provides young people in high school and the first year of college (or age equivalent) and their adult advisors the chance to gather for a week of fellowship, worship, workshops, recreation and more. Online registration is at www.brethren.org/nyc

On Sunday evening, items will be collected to donate to Estes Valley Investment in Childhood Success Resource Center (EVICS). We ask participants to bring with them coloring books, pencils, pens, and notebooks that will be included in school kits distributed to local students starting school in the fall.

Monday morning’s offering will go toward the Church of the Brethren’s Global Food Initiative. GFI supports sustainable agricultural practices in countries around the world that lessen food insecurity and help to meet nutritional needs.

The last offering of the week, collected on Tuesday morning, will benefit the NYC Scholarship Fund. This fund helps to widen the welcome of NYC to multicultural domestic youth and international youth. Donations collected this year will go towards NYC 2030.

We are excited to offer online giving during worship at NYC for donations to the GFI and the NYC Scholarship Fund. Look on the NYC website for more information about offerings (www.brethren.org/nyc) or follow us on social media for all updates (Instagram: @brethrenyouth, Facebook: National Youth Conference).

We hope that these offerings will spread the light of Christ beyond the week of NYC itself and have a positive impact on many, both locally in Estes Park and around the world!
