Aly Heckeroth begins Oct. 13 as FaithX assistant coordinator for the 2026 season, serving through Brethren Volunteer Service (BVS) at the Church of the Brethren General Offices in Elgin, Ill. She is starting her second year in BVS, after having served for a year at Highland Park Elementary in Roanoke, Va. She is a member of Messiah Church of the Brethren in Kansas City, Mo., and a 2024 graduate of Bridgewater (Va.) College with a degree in Philosophy and Religion.
