University Park (Md.) Church of the Brethren is hosting our annual Sharing Fair on Nov. 1 from 9:30 a.m.-3 p.m.–we invite all of our Brethren siblings to stop by to support a good cause!
This is an event for nonprofit organizations to share their mission with the broader community and sell items to directly support their work. Organizations in attendance include:
- Little Friends for Peace
- Heifer Project
- New Community Project
- Local nonprofits
- International nonprofits
Additionally, independent artisans will be selling items and commit to donating a percentage of their sales toward a charitable organization. These include:
- Ten Thousand Villages–fair trade gifts, Christmas decorations, and housewares
- Fiber artists
- Erol Miller–graphic art
- Vintage jewelry sale–all items $5 to $10
Don’t forget the food–get yourself a special treat or your Saturday lunch!
- University Park Church of the Brethren youth will be hosting a huge bake sale to raise funds for their travel to National Youth Conference!
- Our gourmet grill will have our famous bratwursts, burgers, and vegetarian options!
University Park Church of the Brethren has a large parking lot to the right of the church. The church address is 4413 Tuckerman St., University Park, MD 20782.
