Walt Wiltschek has resigned his part-time position as office assistant for Brethren Volunteer Service (BVS) at the Church of the Brethren General Offices in Elgin, Ill., as of Oct. 3. He began in the position on March 7, 2023. He is starting a new part-time position in the writing center of a high school near his home.
Wiltschek continues his half-time role as district executive for the Church of the Brethren’s Illinois and Wisconsin District, and also continues to serve on the editorial team for the Church of the Brethren magazine Messenger.
