LaDonna Sanders Nkosi has resigned as director of Intercultural Ministries for the Church of the Brethren, and as staff of Discipleship Ministries, effective Dec. 31. She has served in the position for three years, since Jan. 16, 2020.

Emily Tyler resigns as director of Brethren Volunteer Service
Emily Tyler has resigned as director of Brethren Volunteer Service (BVS), effective Feb. 18, after three years in the position. She started as director of BVS on Feb. 4, 2019. She has been employed by the Church of the Brethren and BVS for almost 10 years, since June 27, 2012, when she began as coordinator for BVS recruitment and the Workcamp Ministry.
Dana Cassell resigns from the Thriving in Ministry Initiative
Dana Cassell has resigned as program manager of the Thriving in Ministry Initiative for the Church of the Brethren’s Office of Ministry, effective Sept. 16. She has served in this role since Jan. 7, 2019, most recently managing the Part-time Pastor; Full-time Church program.

Wenger resigns as executive minister of Western Pennsylvania District
William W. (Bill) Wenger has resigned as Western Pennsylvania District executive minister, as of Oct. 31. He has served in the position for about three-and-a-half years, starting on an interim basis in Jan. 2017. He was called to the permanent position in Sept. 2017.
Sonja Griffith resigns from leadership of Western Plains District
Sonja Sherfy Griffith has resigned as district executive minister of the Church of the Brethren’s Western Plains District, effective March 31. She has been district executive for 11 years, starting in the half-time position on Jan. 1, 2010. She has served as a bi-vocational minister, carrying out duties as pastor of First Central Church of the Brethren in Kansas City, Kan., a position she has held for the past 23 years.
