International guests at the 2024 Annual Conference include top leadership from several Church of the Brethren sister denominations around the world as well as a number from B.E.S.T. in Nigeria.
The new president of Ekklesiyar Yan’uwa a Nigeria (EYN, the Church of the Brethren in Nigeria), Daniel Y.C. Mbaya, will be representing EYN. Another group of Nigerians will be coming to the Conference from B.E.S.T., an organization of businesspeople in EYN.
Darryl Sankey, trustee, and Cornelius Solomon, a church member, will represent the First District Church of the Brethren, India.
The president and moderator of Iglesia de los Hermanos in the Dominican Republic will be attending to represent the Church of the Brethren in the DR: president Ariel Rosario and moderator Faseli Nolasco de Acevedo.
The president of Iglesia de los Hermanos-Una Luz en las Naciones (Church of the Brethren-a Light to the Nations), Santos Terrero Feliz, along with church member Tanses Terrero Matos, will represent the church in Spain.
The president of Iglesia de los Hermanos (ASIGLEH), Roger Padilla Moreno, will represent the Church of the Brethren in Venezuela.
Representing Burundi will be Expert Bukene, founder and leader of the emerging Church of the Brethren body in Burundi.
The international guests who are representing their denominations will be hosted by the Global Mission office and will be officially welcomed by the Mission and Ministry Board and by the Annual Conference officers and the delegate body during the opening business session. They also will attend the Global Mission Dinner as well as other events during the Conference.
