Rick Best and Sam Carter as of Nov. 19 are concluding their work with Material Resources at the Brethren Service Center in New Windsor, Md. This is due to the upcoming closure of the Material Resources program at the end of 2025.

Best has worked as a baler for Material Resources. He has been employed at the Brethren Service Center for 11 years, since Oct. 20, 2014.
Carter has worked as a sorter and packer of medical supplies for Material Resources. He has been employed at the Brethren Service Center for more than two years, since July 17, 2023.
