The Church of the Brethren’s Mission and Ministry Board holds its fall meetings this weekend at the denomination’s General Offices in Elgin, Ill. Leading the meeting is chair Carl Fike, assisted by chair-elect Colin Scott and general secretary David Steele.
The meeting schedule begins with new board member orientation on Thursday, Oct. 13; executive committee meeting and the full board meeting in closed session on Friday, Oct. 14; the full board in open session on Saturday, Oct. 15; worship and completion of the open board meeting on the morning of Sunday, Oct. 16.
