Susquehanna Valley Ministry Center and Brethren Press partner to offer Faith Formation Series

By Audrey Hollenberg-Duffey

The Susquehanna Valley Ministry Center and Brethren Press are partnering to offer a Faith Formation Series on Zoom:

“Advancing Small Group Online Ministry” will be led by Julie Guistwite on April 28 at 6:30-8 p.m. (Eastern time). Skillfully cultivating sacred spaces for spiritual growth in online environments extends a church’s ministry beyond geographical and physical boundaries. Drawing on scholarly literature and Stephen Brookfield’s teaching strategies, this interactive session explores three methods for nurturing individual and communal spiritual growth in the digital age. Registration cost: $20 for 0.15 continuing education units or $10 for no CEUs.

“Exploring Sunday School Ideas for Adults” will be led by Brethren Press on May 12 from 7-8 p.m. (Eastern time). Looking for new ideas for adult Sunday school classes? Brethren Press offers a variety of curriculum options for adults and youth. This webinar provides an overview of available resources, sample materials, and examples of how congregations have used them. Registration is free, no continuing education credit is offered.
