Randi Rowan has announced her retirement from Discipleship and Leadership Formation, effective June 20. She has served as a program assistant for more than 13 years, since Jan. 2, 2012.
Rowan has been instrumental in the day-to-day activities of the department, managing various aspects of conferences hosted by the denomination. She has served as the “voice on the phone” for those who have called the former Congregational Life and Discipleship Ministries, and now Discipleship and Leadership Formation. Her work has helped undergird administrative work in various areas including Intercultural Ministries, among others. She has helped out in publicizing the scholarship program for nurses and other medical professionals. She has a passion for coaching, for which she is continuing to pursue certification.
