Jeff Lennard has announced his retirement from Brethren Press, effective March 28, 2025. He has served as director of Marketing and Sales for the Church of the Brethren publishing house for 18 years, since Nov. 2006.
Lennard’s work has included overseeing the publishing house’s e-commerce site and the bookstores at Church of the Brethren conferences; supervising customer service, shipping, and inventory management; marketing products on multiple platforms; and playing a key role in the development of new resources. As part of his work, he also is marketing coordinator for the Shine curriculum project, a joint endeavor of Brethren Press and MennoMedia.
The ministry of growing faith within congregations and individuals is particularly meaningful to him. Prior to his work with Brethren Press, Lennard managed Christian bookstores in Chicago, Ill., and Omaha, Neb., and his career in church publishing now spans more than three decades.
