Special offerings

Congregations in the Church of the Brethren participate in three special offerings each year:  One Great Hour of Sharing, Global Mission Offering, and Advent Offering. A resource packet with worship materials, bulletin inserts and offering envelopes is provided for every congregation. Congregations on “standing order” receive their chosen number of multiple copies automatically approximately six weeks prior to the suggested offering date.

Each offering focuses on specific ministries of the church, yet all in-gatherings help put the hands, feet, skills and ministry leadership “on the ground” in all of our core ministries work as we seek to continue the work of Jesus where we each live, in the US, and in the world.
