One: NYC 2026, as you leave this mountain…
ALL: I am light!
Two: When you return to your homes…
ALL: I am light!
One: When you return to your churches…
ALL: I am light!
Two: When you walk into your schools…
ALL: I am light!
One: When you are with your friends…
ALL: I am light!
Two: When you meet strangers…
ALL: I am light!
One: When life feels joyful…
ALL: I am light!
Two: When life feels uncertain…
ALL: I am light!
One: When you feel strong…
ALL: I am light!
Two: And when you don’t feel like shining at all…
ALL: I am light!
One: Because the light of Christ goes with you.
God does not stay on the mountain.
God shines through you.
NYC youth…
ALL: I am light!
Two: Church of the Brethren…
ALL: We are light!
One: Go into the world and shine through.
Go with courage.
Go with compassion.
Go with joy.
Go with Christ.
One: And may the God who has shined through us this week continue to shine
through us wherever we go.
For the glory of God and for everyone whom our light touches.
