The Southern Pennsylvania District of the Church of the Brethren has called Traci Rabenstein to serve as district executive minister starting April 6. She resides in Enola, Pa., from where she will serve in this fulltime role.
Rabenstein has resigned from more than nine years of employment with the Church of the Brethren, most recently as executive director of Mission Advancement. Previously, she was employed for 18 years in various capacities with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, most recently as project manager in the Information Technology Office with the Pennsylvania Governor’s Office of Administration.
She was licensed and ordained through the Mechanicsburg congregation of Southern Pennsylvania District, where she served as youth director and youth pastor for eight years. She also has filled leadership roles in the district as moderator of the district conference and as board chair of Cross Keys Village-The Brethren Home.
Rabenstein holds a 2014 certificate in ministry through the Training in Ministry program of the Brethren Academy for Ministerial Leadership.
