‘Faithful Response Immigration Gathering’ planned for Ohio in March

The Church of the Brethren, Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), United Church of Christ, and Mennonite Church USA are sponsoring a “Faithful Response Immigration Gathering” at Camp Christian in Marysville, Ohio.

From March 17-19, we will gather to strengthen our faithful response to the current immigration crisis by facilitating space and providing tools for pastors and lay leaders to:

1. Develop relationships that cross denominational lines to broaden our network of support.
2. Create and practice safety planning and rapid response to prepare congregations and communities for heightened immigration enforcement.
3. Spiritually ground work and care for congregations to build resiliency and endurance to respond to this crisis.
