The Health Care Education Scholarship program is now available to members of the Church of the Brethren who are enrolled in degree programs for nursing, medicine, dentistry, mental health care, physical and occupational therapy, and other health professions. This scholarship is made possible by the Health, Education and Research Endowment.
The program previously known as the Church of the Brethren Nursing Scholarship has been expanded to students enrolled in degree programs for other health care professions in addition to nursing, through an action of the Mission and Ministry Board.
The scholarship is available for the fall of 2025, providing between $5,000 and $10,000 for eligible candidates. Scholarships are awarded to a limited number of applicants each year. Applications are due by July 18.
