The team’s Equipping Session is on Thursday, July 3, at 12:30 p.m. on the topic “Be SMART: Evidence Based Solution for Gun Violence Prevention.” The session takes place in the Pinehurst room.
A Gun Violence Prevention Prayer Vigil is planned for Thursday, July 3, at 6:30-6:45 p.m. (location to be announced). Wear orange and join us before evening worship for a brief time of prayer and singing.
Join On Earth Peace at its breakfast meal event on Saturday, July 5, at 7 a.m., to learn more about the Gun Violence Prevention initiative. Sandi Evans rogers will speak on the topic “Which Question Are You Asking: How Does Gun Violence Affect our Beloved Community? or How Can our Beloved Community Affect Gun Violence?” The breakfast takes place in the Imperial D room.
