Andy Hamilton, district executive minister of the Church of the Brethren’s Southeastern District, traveled to Palestine on Nov. 9-17 with a delegation from Churches for Middle East Peace (CMEP).
“The delegation was briefed concerning the ongoing genocide and ethnic cleansing in Gaza and visited with Palestinian communities in the West Bank that have experienced ongoing threats of violence from Israeli settlers,” he reported. “The delegation also met with officials from the World Council of Churches accompaniment program (EAPPI) and participated in the Kairos gathering at Bethlehem Bible College.
“Beginning on Thursday, November 13, Palestinian Christian leaders gathered at Bethlehem Bible College to present the 2025 Kairos 2 document entitled, ‘A Moment of Truth: Faith in a Time of Genocide.’”
