Angella F. Haranzo began Sept. 21 as half-time associate district executive minister for the Church of the Brethren’s Virlina District. She has been interim director of District Conference, Nurture and Witness for the district.
Following service as children’s director at the Daleville and Troutville congregations, she served in pastoral leadership at Vinton Church of the Brethren for the last 13 years, concluding on May 31. Additional service on the district level has included the Children’s Cabinet and the District Conference Program and Arrangements Committee. In previous secular work, she was employed by the Trust Company of Virginia.
Haranzo holds an associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies from Dominion College of Virginia (class of 2000) and is a 2013 graduate of the Christian Growth Institute of Virlina District.
