Rachel Johnson and Anna Schweitzer will coordinate National Youth Conference (NYC) 2026. They will begin work with the 2025-2026 National Youth Cabinet in the new year to begin planning for NYC. The event will be held at the YMCA of the Rockies near Estes Park, Colo., from July 18-23, 2026.
Rachel Johnson is currently serving in Brethren Volunteer Service as the 2025 assistant coordinator for FaithX. In May 2024, Rachel graduated from Messiah University with a bachelor’s degree in Youth Ministry. Rachel grew up in Mechanic Grove Church of the Brethren in Atlantic Northeast District. Rachel will be serving full time as NYC coordinator after finishing her work with FaithX this summer. “NYC was a very formative experience when I had the opportunity to go as a youth, and I am excited to be able to help plan this experience for others.”
Anna Schweitzer is currently a freshman at Indiana University where she is studying Exercise Science. Anna will be serving part time as assistant NYC coordinator while she continues her college coursework. She grew up in Cedar Grove Church of the Brethren in Southern Ohio and Kentucky District. “I am excited to be involved in planning NYC because it had such an influential impact on my faith journey when I participated in 2022. I am very glad to be part of that same impact on the next generation of NYC participants!”
