A ten-member, three-church welcome team has worked with Church World Service to resettle a young Afghan family of four in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. A welcome team from Mechanicsburg Church of the Brethren, Grantham Brethren in Christ, and Mechanicsburg Presbyterian Church gathered household goods and furniture, formed a transportation team, and completed clearances that would enable them to interact with the family they would be supporting.
