Columbia City (Ind.) Church of the Brethren members recently learned that their efforts to make additional mortgage payments has resulted in the mortgage being paid off ten months early. The mortgage was taken out in July 2017 to facilitate an addition to the existing building.
In 2021, the congregation celebrated their 60th anniversary and also reached the church’s highest active membership of 143, with over 30 new members.
