1: And just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness,
2: And as Moses lifted up the bronze snake on a pole in the wilderness,
3: In the same way

3: that Moses lifted the serpent in the desert so people could have something to see and then believe,
1: So must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever
2: So the Son of Man must be lifted up. everyone
3: it is necessary for the Son of Man to be lifted up. everyone
1: believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.
2: who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.
3: looks up to him, trusting and expectant, will gain real, eternal life.
1: For GOD so loved the world God so loved the world!
2: God so LOVED the world God so loved the world!
3: God so loved the WORLD. God so loved the world!
1: For God so loved the world that he gave his only son,
2: This is how God loved the world his only son,
3: This is how much God loved the world his one and only son.
1: that everyone who believes in him may not perish
2: that everyone who believes in him will not perish
3: And this is why: so that no one need be destroyed
1: but have eternal life.
2: but have eternal life.
3: by believing in him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life.
1: that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life!
