One: It’s the last day! AHHHHH
Two: Wait, Emersyn, calm down!
One: I can’t! It’s the LAST DAY!
Two: I know, I know, but it’s going to be ok!
One: But there is so much I didn’t do! I didn’t play enough mini golf, I didn’t try all the desserts, I didn’t get in trouble with the Dean…
Two: Well, that last part is a good one… I know, our time here felt short, but think of all the things you DID do.
One: Ok, well, I did a service project, I got to hike in the ROCKY MOUNTAINS, I met some cool people in my small group…
Two: Yeah, I did those things too. I also went to some really great workshops that were fun and inspiring. I went stargazing, rollerskating, and did that BVS escape room – that was cool.
One: I guess we did fit a lot in a short time. I’m just so surprised it’s time to leave already. I’m a little sad about it.
Two: I know, but remember what we learned about light this week? God’s light will go with us, our light is always shining, and I bet today we will talk about how we are taking everyone’s light home with us somehow “WINK WINK (breaking the third wall to the audience)”
One: Yeah, you’re right. I have a lot to take home with me, and a lot to share with my family and friends when I get home. I guess I feel pretty full of experiences and friends and food and recreation and the Holy Spirit and music and….
Two: Yeah, we get it.
One: Thanks. Thanks for helping me become grounded before worship. I guess I was going a little crazy earlier. I feel ready for the last worship. Let’s see what Pastor Brandon, the worship team, and the band have for us. It’s gonna be great!
Two: Yeah, it’s gonna be great!
