Good morning!
Before we sing, before we pray, before we hear God’s Word, I want you to think about
something incredibly small:
A spark.
It doesn’t seem like much. You could easily miss it.
But every campfire you’ve ever gathered around began with one.
Every light that has pushed back the darkness started small.
Sometimes the biggest things begin in ways we almost overlook.
Maybe that’s where some of us are this morning.
Maybe you’re excited to be here. Maybe you’re exhausted.
Maybe this has been one of the best seasons of your life.
Maybe it’s been one of the hardest.
Maybe your faith feels strong. Or maybe it feels like you’re holding on by a thread.
Even when everything else feels unstable, God remains steady.
God doesn’t wait for life to calm down before meeting us.
God meets us in the middle of the noise,
inviting us to pause,
to breathe,
and to remember that we are not carrying the weight of the world alone.
There are seasons when life is full of joy,
and there are seasons when it feels like nothing is growing.
The things we hoped for don’t happen. Prayers seem unanswered.
We experience disappointment, loss, or fear.
Faith isn’t pretending those things don’t exist.
Faith is choosing to trust that God’s presence is still real,
even when life is hard.
And that’s enough.
God has always worked through ordinary people—people with questions,
people who feel overlooked, people who wonder if they have enough to offer.
Again and again, God takes what seems small and ordinary and fills it with grace, hope,
and purpose.
So today, come as you are.
Bring your joy.
Bring your doubts.
Bring your questions.
Bring your fears.
Bring whatever you have.
Because worship isn’t about pretending we’ve got it all together.
It’s about opening our hearts to the God who is already here, who meets us exactly where
we are, and who is always at work—even in ways we cannot yet see.
Come with open hearts.
Come expecting God to move.
Let us worship together.
