Paul’s instruction in his letter to the Romans is to welcome not just people we don’t like, or people who are different, but people we consider weak in faith. Perhaps in our cultural context today, we could also think of those people we consider weak in their moral commitments, or wrong in their political leanings, or misguided in their social stances.
Bring to mind someone you think of in this category. Pray for the ability to welcome that person.
