Hold a fundraiser

Everybody enjoys a fun time. Even better is a fun time that promotes a good cause. Is disaster relief a cause that’s close to your heart? Then why not organize a fundraiser to support Brethren Disaster Ministries?

Ideas for fundraisers are almost endless

A fundraiser can involve sales, food, a sporting event, a performance, a theme, and more. Here’s a handful of examples–

  • Disaster relief auction
  • Ice cream social
  • Dinner and silent auction
  • Benefit concert
  • Barbecue or chili cook-off
  • Mother-daughter tea party
  • Pancake breakfast
  • Dinner theater
  • Walkathon, bike-a-thon, or 5K race
  • Golf tournament
  • Traditional bake sale
  • Hymn sing
  • Theme events – Dunkard Days, Apple Festival, Christmas Bazaar, Valentine’s Day Chocolate Brunch, etc.
  • Special Sunday offering

Whatever you choose to do, your efforts will help Brethren Disaster Ministries restore hope to disaster survivors in their darkest hour.
