The Hospitality Area, located in the Lobby outside the Business and Worship space, will offer a welcoming place to rest, connect with others, and find information about nearby restaurants and local amenities. This area is sponsored by the Northern Indiana District and organized by Carol Lindquist.
Stretch Breaks
To encourage a bit of physical activity while also exploring downtown Fort Wayne, a series of bookmarks suggest walks that take you past a variety of local interests ranging from public art to historical sites to service projects near the Grand Wayne Convention Center. Maps and background provide all the information needed to stretch your legs and return to Conference renewed by fresh air and visual stimulation. Pick up a stretch break bookmark in the Hospitality Area.
Community Meals
You are invited to sign up to join a small group that will walk to a local restaurant on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evenings as a way to make new friends and explore nearby areas of Fort Wayne. Please sign up by noon on the day of the meal in the Hospitality Area so reservations can be confirmed. For a second option, those interested in walking slightly further can join small groups going to Electric Works Union Street Market over lunch where a variety of vendors serve creative meals. No reservations are required for that experience. Meet in the Hospitality Area at 11:45 a.m.
