New Program Coordinator for Ministry of Reconciliation Announced

Leslie FryeOn Earth Peace announces the appointment of Leslie Frye as program coordinator for the Ministry of Reconciliation.  Leslie graduated from Bethany Theological Seminary in 2004 with a Peace Studies emphasis, and was ordained to ministry in the Church of the Brethren in 2005.  She is currently a member of a non-salaried pastoral team, serving the Monitor Community Church of the Brethren in rural McPherson, Kansas.  She is active in the Western Plains District, currently serving as district moderator, and as a member of the Area Ministry Team.

Leslie Frye is a Kansas State Supreme Court-approved mediator, and has worked with the Kansas Institute for Peace and Conflict Resolution as a trainer and a volunteer mediator.  Leslie has had a passion for conflict transformation since 1991, and says, “I look forward to helping ensure that the vital services offered by the Ministry of Reconciliation are available and utilized in the Church of the Brethren and beyond.”

Leslie will work from her home (620-755-3940) in McPherson, Kansas, where she lives with her husband Jonathan and their teenage children, Jamie and Jake.
