One: <\/strong>[speaking as if about to go into a long explanation<\/em>] <\/strong>Pastor Brandon said, \u201cA prism doesn\u2019t create light. It lets light pass through it. And suddenly, color appears everywhere.\u201d This morning\u2026 <\/p>\n\n\n\n Two: <\/strong>[interrupting<\/em>] You know, stick with me for a minute\u2026 This prism is like you and me, and all the people here at NYC. Like Pastor Brandon said, God\u2019s light shines through us encouraging us to be US. And like Pastor Cindy said at the first worship – all y\u2019all are the light of the world! SO\u2026 <\/p>\n\n\n\n One: <\/strong>[interrupting<\/em>] \u2026 when we shine a light through a prism and it creates these beautiful lights, it\u2019s like us bringing the God-colors into the world!\u202f <\/p>\n\n\n\n [One and Two demonstrate shining a light through the prism<\/em>] <\/p>\n\n\n\n Two: <\/strong>Exactly! We are a great team. <\/p>\n\n\n\n One: <\/strong>[picking back up where she left off<\/em>] This morning we invite you to take a prism to take home with you as a reminder that God\u2019s light is always shining through you, making YOU the light, and bringing God-colors into the world around you. <\/p>\n\n\n\n [This next part references electric candles each youth group was to share at the beginning of NYC, and that were sent with each youth group as they left.\u202f If your youth group has access to the candle you brought home from NYC, consider including this next section also\u2026<\/em>] <\/p>\n\n\n\n Two: <\/strong>Wait, that\u2019s not all. Remember the candle part??? <\/p>\n\n\n\n One: <\/strong>Oh yeah! The candles. Each youth group was supposed to take one candle home with them. Here is the candle we brought down from the mountain.\u202f It is to remind us of the light we became together during NYC, and how we are taking a bit of one anothers light home with us. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Two: <\/strong>You are here to be light.
