{"id":1683,"date":"2026-09-10T20:03:37","date_gmt":"2026-09-10T20:03:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.brethren.org\/yya\/?p=1683"},"modified":"2026-09-10T20:03:37","modified_gmt":"2026-09-10T20:03:37","slug":"call-to-worship-7-19-am","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.brethren.org\/yya\/call-to-worship-7-19-am\/","title":{"rendered":"Call to Worship 7\/19 am"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>One:<\/strong>\u00a0This Call to Worship is a reading to celebrate creation and its Creator,\u00a0 intermixed with selected verses from Psalm 104.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Two:<\/strong>&nbsp;Praise the Lord, my soul.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lord my God, you are very great;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">you&nbsp;are clothed with splendor and majesty.&nbsp; (vs. 1)&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>One:<\/strong>\u00a0We live on a planet where trees warn each other of danger\u00a0 through\u00a0underground networks.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Two:<\/strong>&nbsp;The Lord wraps himself in light as with a garment;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2026and lays the beams of his upper chambers on their waters. \u202f \u202f (vs. 2a, 3a)&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>One:<\/strong>&nbsp;We live on a planet where octopuses dream.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Two:<\/strong>&nbsp;God set the earth on its foundations;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">it&nbsp;can never be&nbsp;moved. (vs. 5)&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>One:<\/strong>\u00a0We live on a planet where ants build cities and the frequency of a cat\u2019s purr\u202f can aid in healing bones.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Two:<\/strong>&nbsp;He makes springs pour water into the ravines;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">it&nbsp;flows between the&nbsp;mountains. (vs. 10)&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>One:<\/strong>\u00a0We live on a planet where bees communicate through dance,\u00a0 showing each other where to fly, which flowers to find.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Two:<\/strong>&nbsp;The trees of the Lord are well watered,&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">the cedars of Lebanon that he planted.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There the birds make their nests\u2026 (vs. 16-17a)&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>One:<\/strong>\u00a0We live on a planet where crows remember human faces,\u00a0 especially those who have been cruel to\u00a0them, and\u00a0pass that memory onto their young.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Two:<\/strong>&nbsp;How many are your works, Lord!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In wisdom you made them all;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">the&nbsp;earth is full of your&nbsp;creatures. (vs. 24)&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>One:<\/strong>\u00a0We live on a planet where elephants return to the bones of their dead\u00a0 and stand over them in silence.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Two:<\/strong>&nbsp;May the glory of the Lord endure forever;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">may the Lord rejoice in his works\u2026 (vs. 31)&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>One:<\/strong>&nbsp;Praise the Lord, my soul.&nbsp;
