History of NYC

It all began many years ago in Anderson, Indiana… the birthplace of National Youth Conference! Every four years, youth from all of the Church of the Brethren have gathered in Lake Junaluska, NC; Estes Park, CO; Ithaca, NY; Valparaiso, IN; Glorieta, NM; and now in Fort Collins, CO to worship, grow, change, be empowered, and to live more fully in the light and life of faith. Throughout the years we have gathered under different themes.

In the traditions of past NYCs, it will be energizing, challenging, uplifting, and unforgettable. You can take a trip down memory lane by looking at this complete list of past NYC years, themes, and places.
