The 300th unit of Brethren Volunteer Service (BVS) completed winter orientation from Jan. 27-Feb. 15 in Gotha, Fla. The new volunteers, their home towns or home congregations, and project placements are listed below.<\/p>\n

Mason Byers<\/strong> of Lancaster (Pa.) Church of the Brethren will serve with Skyridge Church of the Brethren in Kalamazoo, Mich., and Camp Brethren Heights in Rodney, Mich.<\/p>\n

Sam Glover<\/strong> of Mountain View Fellowship Church of the Brethren in McGaheysville, Va., and Simeon Schwab<\/strong> of Boennigheim, Germany, are volunteering with Abode Services in Fremont, Calif.<\/p>\n

Megan Haggerty<\/strong> of Golden, Colo., is serving with the L\u2019Arche Community in Chicago, Ill.<\/p>\n

Richard Tobias<\/strong> and Xinia Tobias<\/strong> of Eastwood Church of the Brethren in Akron, Ohio, will be going to Hiroshima, Japan, to serve at the World Friendship Center.<\/p>\n

Stan White<\/strong> of Freeport (Ill.) Church of the Brethren is serving at Talbert House in Cincinnati, Ohio.<\/p>\n

Ann Ziegler<\/strong> of Elizabethtown (Pa.) Church of the Brethren, has gone to Emanuel Children’s Home in San Pedro Sula, Honduras.<\/p>\n
