Bdagu was attacked last week. Six men and four women were taken away by the Boko Haram, and four people were killed including one old woman burnt in her house.<\/p>\n<p>In other news from Ekklesiyar Yan\u2019uwa a Nigeria (EYN, the Church of the Brethren in Nigeria), 15 delegates attended the 62nd TEKAN Assembly if Tarayyar Ekklisiyar Kristi a Nijeria, held in Jos, Plateau State, in mid-January. This was the first TEKAN general assembly at which Joel S. Billi attended as EYN president. EYN is one of the founding churches of TEKAN.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bdagu suffers repeated attacks<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Bdagu, in Damboa Local Government Area of Borno State, not far from Sambisa Forest, has been attacked several times. Many people were killed in the Christian populated village.<\/p>\n<p>According to the secretary of the church district, Dauda Ijigil, their situation is \u201cvery bad. Some find shelter in ruins, others with relatives, while the larger numbers [shelter] at one Vocational Training Centre, Lassa.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Lassa community had hosted thousands of displaced people before the town was obliterated in the violence, with houses, public buildings, churches, and Bible schools razed.<\/p>\n<p>&#8212;\u00a0<em>Zakariya Musa is staff for communications for Ekklesiyar Yan\u2019uwa a Nigeria (EYN, the Church of the Brethren in Nigeria).
