By the numbers<\/strong><\/p>\n

417 backpacks full of school supplies, and 40 additional boxes of supplies were received during a Sunday morning offering and additional day\u2019s collections. The offering of supplies for St. Louis schools was the Conference service project and an outreach and witness to the host community. The additional boxes are estimated to be enough to fill another 600 backpacks, making a total of more than 1,000 backpacks\u2019 worth of supplies donated by Brethren to the children of St. Louis.<\/p>\n

$6,395.15 received in Wednesday\u2019s offering<\/p>\n

Annual Conference theme for 2013 is announced<\/strong><\/p>\n

Bob Krouse, moderator for 2013 Annual Conference, announced today that the theme for next year will be \u201cMove in Our Midst.\u201d Krouse said that next year is, coincidentally, the 100th anniversary of the birth of hymn writer Ken Morse.<\/p>\n
