This event is free and open to the public from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lititzcob.org\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.lititzcob.org\/\">Lititz Church of the Brethren<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The congregations\u2014Mountville, York First, Lititz, Elizabethtown, and Lancaster\u2014have been planning the event for about a year. Said an announcement: \u201cPeaceFest is a family-friendly event designed to bring people together in hope, education, fellowship, and action around a shared vision of a more peaceful world. Sponsored by the Peace and Justice Committees of local Church of the Brethren congregations, PeaceFest reflects a longstanding commitment to promoting peace, justice, and nonviolence within our communities.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.shaneclaiborne.com\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.shaneclaiborne.com\/\">Shane Claiborne<\/a>, a speaker, activist, best-selling author, and co-founder of <a href=\"https:\/\/rawtools.org\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/rawtools.org\/\">RAWtools<\/a>, will be the keynote speaker. <\/strong>A demonstrations by RawTools will forge handguns into garden tools. Musicians Tim Craven and Jesse Eisenbise will perform. Attendees can enjoy food trucks, music, face painting, the Tree House Playground, and a variety of hands-on activities for all ages.
